We Deliver Across DFW
Dallas–Fort Worth heat hits harder than the thermometer suggests. North Texas humidity stacks on top of 100°+ afternoons, pushing the heat index well past 105°F and making a home without cooling genuinely unsafe.
Our portable AC rentals are built for these conditions. We can help you restore comfort in a bedroom, living area, or workspace in about 90 minutes, often before your HVAC technician can fully diagnose the issue.

Frequently Asked Questions
My DFW HVAC technician says the part is on backorder. What now?
Parts for modern variable-speed systems, common in newer Frisco, McKinney, and Prosper builds, can take 7 to 14 days to arrive during peak summer. With North Texas heat running May through September, waiting it out isn’t practical. A portable AC rental bridges the gap at $35 to $65 a day and keeps your family comfortable without pressuring the repair timeline.
Can I rent a portable AC for just a few days in DFW?
Yes, and most Dallas-Fort Worth rentals are short-term. Typical HVAC repairs across the Metroplex run 2 to 5 days once a technician is scheduled, and a portable unit covers that window cleanly. We also handle longer setups for renovations, rental property turnovers, and out-of-town guests during a heat wave. Rates start at $35 a day, with weekly pricing available.
How much does a portable AC rental cost in DFW?
Pricing starts at $35 a day for our Mini Cooler, which handles bedrooms up to 250 square feet. Larger units for living rooms and open-concept spaces run $65 a day and up. Most Metroplex homeowners rent one to three units depending on layout. Two-story homes in the northern suburbs usually need an extra unit upstairs since cool air doesn’t travel between floors well.
Do I need to set up the portable AC myself once it arrives?
No. Our DFW technicians handle the full setup: positioning, venting, sealing the window kit, and confirming cold air before they leave. Every tech is background-checked and arrives in a branded Rescue Cooling vehicle, which matters when you’re letting someone into your home during a stressful week. When you’re done, call us and we pick it up.
